Architecture, Interior & Setting
Architecture
Composed as a series of stacked horizontal planes, the residence steps down the hillside toward the water. Floor-to-ceiling glazing slides away on every level, so living spaces read as covered terraces rather than rooms.
Board-formed concrete, honed limestone and quarter-sawn oak give the interiors a quiet, tactile palette that shifts with the coastal light through the day.
Setting
The house sits above a private stretch of coastline, screened from the road by native planting. Evenings are spent on the lower terrace, where the pool edge meets the horizon line.
